Clinical Psychologist/CBT – CAHMS – Huddersfield

Pulse is currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist/CBT with excellent interpersonal skills to join our fantastic NHS client’s CAMHS team based in Huddersfield, Yorkshire but will work from home occasionally. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for six months with a likely view to extend.

The post holder will be responsible for providing highly specialist therapy to children, offering interventions and treatments. The post holder may be required to perform generic CAMHS assessments. The successful Psychologist will provide supervision to the residential CYP home staff, link in with the professional network and formulate a plan for the best methods of care. Assessment work as a Psychologist or clinician is a bonus and as well as experience working alongside care homes and their networks and having confidence in working with CYP residential homes.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Be HCPC registered
• Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
• Be analytical and show good attention to detail
