Clinical or Counselling Psychologist – CAMHS

Pulse are currently recruiting for an Clinical Or Counselling Psychologist to work in a school with young children. The ideal candidate will be working with young people with complex and developmental trauma, as well as children on the autism spectrum.

This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time and part-time hours in a permanent role.

The successful applicant will work within 3 settings; Two of these schools are for young people who have complex needs, often who have suffered developmental trauma, may have neurodevelopmental needs and who may have spent some time being out of education provisions. 

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
• Be HCPC registered
• Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
• Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
• Good knowledge of relevant psychometric tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
