Description

A clinical nurse Resuscitation officer is required to join the Nursing Education team at a beautiful modern clinic in London.  Working at one of the worlds leading providers of specialist medical care. The goal of the friendly and experienced team is to create an inclusive environment to deliver world-class clinical care. Working with a multi-professional clinical educational team you will have the opportunity to develop clinical simulation and educational skills.

Full time 37.5 hours Mon – Fri 09:00-17:00 with flexibility when required as per the services needs.

 Duties and Responsibilities of a clinical nurse specialist – Resuscitation officer

  • In this role, teaching forms a large component and includes attending medical emergencies and cardiac arrests, audits and organisation of the emergency equipment provision across all facilitates.
  • Ensure patients receive optimal quality resuscitation
  • Support the delivery of resuscitation protocols taught and adhered to throughout the clinic
  • Facilitate appropriate resuscitation training according to the clinics policy
  • Act as effective role model in the clinical resuscitation situation and act as an expert resource to all caregivers working across the clinic.  

 

Requirements of a clinical nurse specialist – Resuscitation officer

  • You will be registered on the NMC register
  • Resuscitation council UK Provider Course Instructor (ILS essential, ALS and GIC desirable)
  • Considerable post registration acute or critical experience
  • Extensive and recent nursing education experience required, and demonstrate knowledge of clinical training education methodology such as training needs assessment (TNA’s), clinical training curriculum development, instructional design, and principles of adult learning
  • Excellent presentation and training skills required, ideally previous experience of delivering clinical training in a hospital/acute healthcare environment.
