Description

If you are a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist, registered with HCPC registration, who is looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference and changes lives for the better, then join the team our team and enjoy support from a regional network of psychologists.

You will be working at a 130 bedded independent hospital that supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services, there is also a PICU Mental Health Service. This position will be available for the appointed Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working full-time hours in a permanent role.

The Clinical Psychologist will undertake assessments, formulate care plans and deliver therapeutic interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. The psychologist will also be supporting a like-minded multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists and other clinical staff. Travelling to different services and patients’ houses may be required for this position.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
