The Role: As a Band 7/8a Clinical Forensic Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert psychological assessments and interventions within forensic settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments of service users
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based interventions and treatment plans
  • Providing therapeutic support and psychological interventions to individuals in forensic settings
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Conducting risk assessments and contributing to risk management plans
  • Providing consultation and advice to colleagues and external agencies

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with forensic experience
  • Experience working within forensic mental health settings
  • Strong assessment and formulation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
