Chemotherapy Nurse – Essex

With a range of shifts available including long days, earlies, lates, nights and twilights, the rates for Chemotherapy nurses in this area vary between £31.00 – £43.24 per hour.

Chemotherapy nurse responsibilities includes: 

• To assess patients and monitor condition while on treatment
• In collaboration with the chemotherapy team, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care
• Receiving handovers from staff and being given a caseload of patients.
• Using your skills to give high levels of care, whilst learning new skills.
• Contribute to maintaining the ward environment ensuring it is safe, clean and tidy.

Chemotherapy nurse Role Requirements: 

• Valid NMC registration
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a Chemotherapy/Oncology setting 
• To meet the compliance requirements of both the NHS and private sector
• Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
