Chemotherapy Manager
- Band 8A equivalent
- Location: Southend On Sea, Essex
- Type: Permanent
- Full Time, No night shifts
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Chemotherapy Manager to join an outstanding Cancer Services Team in a private hospital in Essex. The chosen candidate will lead and deliver high-quality care to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
Relocation Package and Joining Bonus available.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs within cancer services within the organisation
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information across cancer services
- Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practices within cancer care
- Develop strategies and policies for cancer services.
Who we’re looking for
- NMC registration with no restrictions
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as senior cancer nurse
- Must be able to administer Chemotherapy
- SACT passport essential
- Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient cases mixes individuals with a cancer diagnosis
- Leadership/managerial skills
