Description

Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 7 CBT Therapist to work in service for a CAMHS team in Doncaster to work as an autonomous clinician providing Specialist Cognitive Behavioural assessments, Lead professional and treatment to children and young people with a range of psychological and emotional disorders.

This role is based in Doncaster, and is available to start as soon as possible, offering full time hours each week for an initial 6 month period.

The ideal candidate will be working with the lead Clinical Psychologist offering advice, assessment and specialist therapeutic intervention to children and their families.

To be considered for this role applying therapists must have:

  • A post graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Full BABCP accreditation
  • Completed LTC training
  • Extensive Mental Health experience
  • The ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Be comfortable providing 1:1 or group consultation (face-to-face and via telephone)
  • An IAPT supervision course is ideal, but not essential for the role
  • Be empathetic and understanding
