Description

Pulse is currently seeking a band 7 Clinical Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills, to join our fantastic private client’s CAMHS Neuro team based in Watford, Hertfordshire. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an initial 3-month period. The appointed Clinical Psychologist would work within a specialist CAMHS neurodevelopmental team, providing assessments to children with Autism spectrum disorders and related neurodevelopmental and behavioural and/or mental health conditions.

 The successful psychologist would provide specialist advice, guidance and consultation regarding the assessment formulation, diagnosis and recommendations for treatment where relevant to external agencies and to provide pre-diagnostic and post-diagnostic consultations, including psychological support, developmental guidance and psychoeducation using a coaching approach.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
