Breast care nurse
Salary up to £44,850 (dependant on experience)
Location: London
Pulse is now working alongside private hospital in London that has a dedicate Breast care team. This team are looking for an experienced breast care nurse to join them.
This is an opportunity to work full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday.

The Role
Working within a dedicated cancer centre, the successful candidate will be providing a support service to patients and their families/carers receiving treatment for breast cancer. They will also take part in developing educational programmes within breast cancer care.
This role will involve providing a high-quality service and to work with a caseload of patients, their families, and carers to provide access to counselling and psychological support. To deliver practical help and advice by assessing the cosmetic needs of patients while providing information. Ensuring safe and effective care for breast cancer patients including specialist advice regarding surgical treatments. Along with offering ongoing support and following up with patients receiving hormone treatment.
We are looking for a confident nurse, as you’ll be liaising with a multidisciplinary team in addition to other healthcare professionals from their partner hospitals and clinics.
Requirements
- Breast care nurse with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
- Breast cancer experience is essential
- Strong wound care skills
- Strong, clear communication skills
- Empathetic and compassionate nature
