Description

Are you a determined and caring Clinical Psychologist with forensic experience?

A Band 8b Clinical/Forensic Psychologist is required to work in a 82 bedded hospital with six wards consisting of a medium secure male ward, two low secure (male and female) wards, two PICU male wards and one acute female ward. The Psychologist will work across the hospital working closely with the MDT. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week in a permanent role.

The Psychologist in post will undertake specialist mental health assessments, as well as formulating treatment plans and delivering evidence based therapeutic interventions. The post holder will also work closely with non-psychological professionals, advising on best psychological care.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a relevant qualification at doctorate level
  • Be HCPC Registered
  • Have experience working within a similar setting
  • Have strong communication and listening skills
