Pulse are currently seeking to recruit a Band 8b Assistant Supervising Psychologist with previous experience, to join our clients private team based in Lancashire. This vacancy is available for the appointed candidate to join the team immediately, working full time hours each week for an initial 3-month period with a view to extend.
The Assistant supervising Psychologist in post will assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans, involving psychological treatment and/or management of problems, under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist in a community/acute setting.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups/ sensory circuits.
- Working with other staff to assess and review service user’s care in preparation for multi-disciplinary treatment reviews.
- Assisting in the development of a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all service users, across all settings where care takes place.
- Attending and contributing to appropriate multi-disciplinary and psychology meetings.
- Support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients in the Community CAMHS Directorate across all sectors of care
