Description

Are you a determined and caring Clinical Psychologist with forensic experience?

A clinical/counselling psychologist is needed in a specialist low secure forensic service in Rochdale, Lancashire for an NHS trust and for an Initial 3-months working full-time hours each week. As this is a band 7/8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.

The Psychologist in post will provide assessments for specialist psychological interventions / individual therapy based on complex data from a variety of sources to service users in RHS. Sources of data include: observations, self-report measures, neuropsychological tests, semi-structured interviews with service users, professionals involved in the service user’s care and their families.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Hold a relevant qualification at doctorate level
  • Be HCPC Registered
  • Have experience working within a similar setting
  • Have strong communication and listening skills
