Band 8a – Clinical Psychologist – Eating Disorders – Midhurst

Are you an empathetic Clinical Psychologist seeking a new opportunity?

A rewarding new opportunity has become available for a band 8a Clinical Psychologist to join our well-established private client’s eating disorders service based in Midhurst, Sussex. The service is due to open early in 2024, the postholder will work full time hours per week on a permanent contract.

The service will have 12 beds for young adults between the ages of 18-25, the aim is to deliver, treat and empower each young person to live a safe and independent life and reach their individual potential. The service are also committed to making families and friends an active part in each young person’s recovery process. Applying therapists must have 3 years full time post graduate experience as well as experience of working with a wide variety of client groups across the whole life course and with presenting problems that reflects the full range of clinical severity.

Salary: Up to £65,000 reviewed annually

To be considered for this role you must:

• Hold a relevant doctorate level qualification
• Be HCPC registered
• Have previous CAMHS eating disorders experience
• Be a great listener with strong communication skills
• Be both patient and analytical
