Description

Pulse is currently seeking a determined band 8a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Adult Mental Health team, within a fantastic NHS trust based in Wallington, Surrey. This position will be available for the appointed Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working part-time hours for a 3-month period. As this is a band 7/8a position, our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.

The Clinical Psychologist will provide a qualified clinical/counselling psychology service to clients of the service team across all sectors of care, providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures; and to utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in adult mental health
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
