Band 7 – Senior Practitioner – CAMHS – London

Are you an empathetic CAMHS Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

We are now recruiting for a Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioner to join a well-established NHS trust based in London. The role is available to start as soon as possible, and the appointed candidate will need to work full time hours per week for an initial 3-month period.

The successful CAMHS Practitioner will manage a defined caseload of young people and their families and carers – working with the MDT. The appointed practitioner will also co-ordinate and deliver individualised care packages / programmes for adolescents and their families and evaluate these programmes, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with national guidelines and trust policy.  

Skills and experience needed:

• Show excellent CAMHS experience
• Able to complete urgent assessments
• Extensive experience of working as a CAMHS Practitioner
• Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
• Experience of a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
• Can work well independently and as part of the team
