Band 7 – Physiotherapy Lead – Intermediate Care/Rapid Response – Fleet

Pulse is seeking to recruit an empathetic and caring Band 7 Physiotherapist Team Lead to work within the Intermediate Care/Rapid Response team at an innovative NHS trust located within Fleet, Hampshire. This placement is available for the appointed physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.

The ideal physiotherapist will carry out the line management and clinical supervision of community rapid response physios. The postholder will support the induction of new staff and will manage a small complex caseload of patients with a variety of conditions. Applying therapists must have previous experience within leadership/Management, community; elderly care; and rehab.

Physiotherapists applying for this role must have:

• A relevant qualification within Physiotherapy
• Previous NHS experience within an Intermediate care setting
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Be compassionate and have the ability to build rapport with patients
• Good time management skills
• A car and a driver’s license

Duties will include:

• Admission prevention and supported discharge
• Intermediate care in bedded units
• Rehabilitation following a fall
• Assessment of client progress
• Supporting clients and family members with advice
