Are you a compassionate Speech Therapist who specialises in Paediatric Learning Disabilities?

Our client is currently seeking a Band 6/7 Speech Therapist join their fantastic Paediatric Learning Disabilities service at a school based in Surrey. This position will be available for the successful therapist to start immediately, working part time hours each week on a permanent basis.

The successful therapist will be working within a multidisciplinary team at a special needs school for pupils aged 2-19 years of age. The occupational therapist will provide assessment, advice, therapy and support to individuals and groups of children at the school.

Duties will include:

• Managing a caseload of young children with language delay, speech disorders, dysfluency and ASD
• Carrying out PLS-5 assessments and providing therapeutic interventions
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Paediatricians
• Report writing for audit measurements
• Providing support and advice to families and carers

It is essential that the candidate is HCPC registered, with a proven track record working within paediatrics to be considered for this role.
