Description

Pulse seeks a band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with excellent interpersonal skills to join our fantastic client’s CAMHS Inpatient service based in Horley, Surrey. This vacancy is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours on a permanent basis.

In this role, you will be instrumental in providing support to young people who are experiencing emotional, behavioural, or developmental change. The aim is to deliver, treat and empower each young person to live a safe and independent life and reach their individual potential. Emerald Place is committed to helping families and friends become an active part of each young person’s recovery process. Participating in the assessment of referrals and to provide an initial assessment of young people referred to the service. Undertaking high-quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions. To work therapeutically with young people with complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.

Rates: Up to £50,000 per annum

 To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a doctorate in either Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Have a proven track record in a CAMHS environment
  • Be analytical and show good attention to detail
