Pulse is recruiting for a band 7/8a Psychologist specialising in trauma therapy, to work within a well-established private service located in Leatherhead, Surrey. Both psychologist and CBT professionals will be considered for this role, dependant on experience and qualifications.
The right candidate will need to have dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT), EDMR or counselling for depression (CFD) qualifications as you will be dealing with sensitive caseloads of veterans with complex mental health need. Experience working within trauma is essential.
The placement is available for start as soon as possible for an ongoing period working either full-time or part-time hours each week. It is essential that candidates are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Duties will include:
- Providing psychological consultation for the inter-disciplinary team and contribute to psychologically informed treatment planning, development of a reflective team approach and trauma-informed services
- Providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation and treatment using evidence-based trauma-focused CBT for Veterans with PTSD, Complex-PTSD, depression, emotional dysregulation, inter and intrapersonal problems and other complex trauma-related mental health problems
