Description

A permanent position has become available for an HCPC registered Psychologist to work within a charitable service for people who are homeless.

Pulse is recruiting for a Psychologist specialising in trauma therapy, to work within a well-established private practice located in the area of Liverpool. The placement is available for start as soon as possible working full-time hours per week.

The post holder will work directly with people who are homeless who have suffered trauma, as well as possible co morbid mental health conditions. The post holder will also support non-psychological professionals in best psychological care.

Duties will include: 

  • Direct therapeutic work with patients
  • Assessment and formulation
  • Work with other staff and non-psychologically trained professionals, guiding in best psychological care
  • Managing own caseload 
  • Making referrals when needed
