Description

Are you a determined and caring Psychologist with forensic experience?

A Band 7/8a practitioner psychologist is needed in a forensic service in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, for a private trust. The role is available to start in January/February, working full-time or part-time hours per week for a 12-month period.  

The post holder will be based in the well-established 39 bed female forensic service, which encompasses medium and low secure care. The successful candidate will be holding a caseload of clinical work, including carrying out individual and group psychological assessment and intervention and developing formulations. This role will be suitable for a Practitioner Psychologist who is at least 2 years post qualification with experience of supervising others, and working with forensic clients.

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a relevant qualification at the doctorate level
  • Be HCPC Registered
  • Have experience working within a similar setting
  • Have strong communication and listening skills
