Pulse seeks a determined band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Adult Community Mental Health team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in their acute mental health wards. The post holder will deliver assessments and case formulations for complex clients in a dynamic environment. You will have an interest in providing brief, focused individual and group therapy interventions and supporting ward teams with a psychologically informed practice ranging from positive behaviour support plans to reflective practice groups.
The Clinical Psychologist will undertake assessments, formulate care plans and deliver therapeutic interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. The psychologist will also be supporting a like-minded multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists and other clinical staff. This position may require travel to different services and patients’ houses.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Be HCPC registered
- Have a proven track record in adult mental health
- Be analytical and show good attention to detail
