Are you an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with Paediatric experience?

Our NHS client is now seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within their team at a fantastic NHS trust based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The trust is offering full-time/part-time hours until December.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing specialized physiotherapy services to a diverse patient population. This role involves working with paediatric patients, as well as individuals with musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. The postholder will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to optimise patient outcomes. The postholder should have previous Paediatric/MSK/Orthopaedics experience to be considered for this role and knowledge of postural management, neurodevelopmental interventions, specialist equipment and orthotics.           

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be HCPC registered as a physiotherapist
  • Have previous experience of working in paediatrics
  • Have the relevant degree in Physiotherapy
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with all ages
  • Post-Graduation experience working within Paediatrics
  • Management of complex conditions

Duties within this role will include:

  • To undertake own specialised paediatric clinical caseload
  • Carry out patient assessments to monitor and evaluate progress
  • Communicate complex and sensitive information to patients/carers/staff
  • Working with children aged 0 to 19
