Are you an enthusiastic Physiotherapist with Paediatric experience?
Our NHS client is now seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist Paediatric to work within their team at a fantastic NHS trust based in Doncaster, Yorkshire. The trust is offering part-time hours for an ongoing period of 12 months.
The successful Physiotherapist will be a pro-active Paediatric Physiotherapist who will have the opportunity to work in a variety of community settings. The caseload will be a mix of musculoskeletal and neurodevelopmental patients referred by GPs and tertiary centres.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be HCPC registered as a physiotherapist
- Have previous experience of working in paediatrics
- Have the relevant degree in Physiotherapy
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to build rapport with all ages
- Post-Graduation experience working within Paediatrics
- Management of complex conditions
Duties within this role will include:
- To undertake own specialised paediatric clinical caseload
- Carry out patient assessments to monitor and evaluate progress
- Communicate complex and sensitive information to patients/carers/staff
- Working with children aged 0 to 19
