Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic Physiotherapist looking for a new and exciting role within mental health?

Pulse is now recruiting for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the team at an innovative NHS trust based in Essex. The post is available to start as soon as possible working 3 days at the Colchester site, and 2 days at the Basildon site.

The postholder will work as a Senior Physiotherapist responsible for mental health in-patient wards at Hospitals and in the Community. The appointed physiotherapist will undertake physiotherapy assessment, clinically diagnose, to formulate and implement treatment plans using specialist knowledge and experience. This will include the treatment of complex patients in a manner that respects people’s choice, privacy, dignity and individuality.

Duties within this role may include:

  • Provide physiotherapy treatment to patients who have mental health conditions
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Help to manage mobility
  • Managing own caseload efficiently
  • Being legally and professionally responsible for own work

Skills and experience needed:

  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with mental health
  • Relevant degree/qualifications
