Are you an empathetic Mental Health Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?
We are now recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join a well-established NHS trust based in Slough, Buckinghamshire on a locum contract. The post on offer will be available to start ASAP, working full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.
The successful Practitioner will management of a defined CAMHS caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to undertake assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programs. The successful practitioner will take an active role in the holistic assessment and treatment of patients who present to the service with mental health problems and especially those that are at risk of or have attempted deliberate self-harm. Applying therapists must have a core qualification with the appropriate professional registration.
Skills and experience needed:
- Managing a caseload
- Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
- Experience with a wide range of mental health presentations
- Can work well independently and as part of the team
