Accident and Emergency (A&E) Nurse (Band 5)

Location: Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Hospitals

Employment: Full-term or part-time, permanent – 37.5hrs + flexible working options!

Salary: Band 5: £28,407 – £34,581 per annum + benefits

Role overview:

As a Band 5 A&E nurse, you’ll play a crucial role in in the emergency department. Providing high quality care to patients suffering from injuries and acute illnesses and helping oversee the unit and provide clinic leadership and supervision.

  • Triage: Assessing patients’ conditions and prioritizing care based on urgency
  • Assisting senior nurses with the running of the unit daily
  • Working with your team to ensure waiting times are kept to minimum
  • Supervise students, junior nurses and other team members

The Ideal Candidate:

  • NMC registration – RNA qualified
  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in a acute nursing setting
