Pulse is now recruiting for a new role in an innovative NHS trust based in Epping, Essex. The practice requires a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. Candidates applying will be qualified in Occupational Therapy and be available to work full time hours for an initial 3-month period.
The postholder will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, treatment, and evaluation to patients, both in an inpatient Rehabilitation Ward setting and in the community as part of the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team.
Duties within the role will include:
- Help clients to follow a treatment plan that has been developed with the occupational therapist, to help with everyday activities
- Maintain client records by recording progress
- Keep track of supplies and stock
- Provide any required support to the occupational therapists
