Band 4 – Assistant – Rehab – Romford

Pulse is now recruiting for a new role in an innovative NHS trust based in Romford, Essex. The practice requires a Band 4 Rehab Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. Candidates applying will be qualified in Occupational Therapy and be available to work full time hours.

This post requires the post holder to work with Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, to be able to independently work with patients and progress exercises. This could be across the pathway within Hyper Acute and Acute Stroke Unit and Early Supported Discharge. The applying Assistant should have previous experience working as an assistant to be considered for this role.

Duties within the role will include:

• Help clients to follow a treatment plan that has been developed with the occupational therapist, to help with everyday activities
• Maintain client records by recording progress
• Keep track of supplies and stock
• Provide any required support to the occupational therapists
