Description

Pulse is now recruiting for a new role in an innovative private trust based in London. The practice requires a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The candidate will be working full-time hours per week for an ongoing period.

This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with uni/multi-disciplinary teams/agencies in addressing a range of care/support issues across the spectrum of conditions, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and improving the health and wellbeing of the population served. Applying candidates must have experience of working as a TA, some experience of working with children as well as inpatients experience.

Duties within the role will include:

  • Help clients to follow a treatment plan that has been developed with the occupational therapist, to help with everyday activities
  • Maintain client records by recording progress
  • Keep track of supplies and stock
  • Provide any required support to the occupational therapists
