Anaesthetics Theatre Nurse – Barts

Pulse Nursing is delighted to be supporting Barts Health NHS Trust, offering a variety of shifts for Anaesthetic Theatres Nurses Across the City of London, as well as East London. 

Our shifts introduce the opportunity to work with a fantastic, qualified team of nurses to deliver patient’s critical theatre care and support post-surgery. 

Pulse Nursing are offering a number of shift patterns and flexible shifts across day and night hours in friendly and welcoming environment.  
 

Rates are between £32.50 – £45.00 per hour. 

Anaesthetics Theatre Nurse responsibilities includes: 

• The Anaesthetic nurse’s role is to detect adverse effects as soon as possible and intervene promptly and adequately within pre operation settings 
•  Administrating Anaesthetics to patients before surgery 
• Monitoring drug levels of patients throughout the operation 
• Assessing the patient to ensure they can be discharged back to a ward 
• Offering support to the patient upon arrival to the post anaesthetic unit 
• Communicating with the anaesthetist and other members of the team 
• Keeping up to date with records of each patient. 

Anaesthetics Theatre Nurse Role Requirements:

• NMC Registration 6 months  
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an Anaesthetics Theatre Nurse – able to provide 2 references for verification 
• To meet our framework compliance requirements including DBS, and Occupational Health and Updated CV 
• Right to work within the UK – Documentation proof will be required
