Pulse is currently recruiting for a pharmacy technician to work on the medicines management team, at a NHS trust in London. The trust is located closely to a main line train station and there is regular running transport links, making it easily accessible for those who do not drive.

The post is available to start as soon as possible working full time hours Monday to Friday, for an initial 3-month tenure. Candidates applying must have previous experience of working within an acute hospital setting. 

Whilst in this post, your duties will include: 
• Dispensing of in-patient and out-patient prescriptions 
• Providing advice to patients on pharmaceutical products 
• Medicines history taking 
• Generation of dispensing labels 
• Using electronic prescribing systems 
• Liaising with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe, efficient and cost effective service
