Pulse Psychiatry is now looking for a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry  to fill our post that is based within North East England


As a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry what are my Role and Duties?

The role is to assess, diagnose and treat 16-25 in acute hospital settings (wards & ED)

Support nurses with complex cases/risk management and assess/treat MHA.

The 3 sites are at a distance across the trust footprint but there are similar processes in place at each team and potential for a degree of flexible working with extended operating hours.

There are postgraduate education programs across the trust which could be accessed to support CPD.


Placement start date:  From ASAP to 30/11/2016    

Proposed work pattern: Mon - Fri                                                                                          

Total hours needed per week: 40

What experience and skills do I need?

The suitable candidate must have these following skills and experience:

You must have your own transport.

  • Full GMC registration and a licence to practice, Section 12 approval, Excellent Communication Skills, Specialist Registration Required, Must be Approved Clinician.
