Swab testing for your employees

The coronavirus swab test can show whether someone has the active virus (SARS-CoV-2) or not. If an employee is displaying COVID-19 symptoms (such as a continuous cough, fever, and shortness of breath), we recommend a swab test.

Why swab testing?

Swab tests are conducted by our qualified nurses and work by collecting cells from the back of the throat and nose, which are the sites where the virus replicates. The swab is sent for laboratory testing, and results are back within 72 hours. After conducting the test, our nurses will recommend employees go home and self-isolate, along with anyone else in their household, until the results are back.

Positive tests mean that the employee currently has the virus. If the result is negative, the employee does not have the virus.
