Successful delivery of over 53,000 mental health staffing hours
Pulse enjoys a long-standing relationship with Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (formerly two separate entities which merged in 2017: Manchester Mental Health and Social Care NHS Trust and Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust). We have worked in collaboration with the Trust since supply began in 2010.
In one 12-month period, we delivered a bulk recruitment project which resulted in a total of 56,135 hours worked by Pulse locums. Pulse delivered 24 WTE to Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and succeeded in significantly reducing waiting times for service users. We provided a variety of mental health professionals to the Trust, including psychologists, CBT therapists and counsellors, all of whom upheld our robust clinical standards, delivering expert compassionate care.
Hours of supply that Pulse contributed:
- Psychological therapies: 22,996 hours
- Psychiatry doctors: 8,827 hours
- Occupational therapy: 1,070 hours
- Mental health nursing: 7,338 hours
- Healthcare assistants: 14,880 hours
Total: 56,135 hours
