Are you a Qualified Speech and Language Therapist who specialises in Learning Disabilities?

Pulse is now seeking an experiences Speech and Language Therapist to work within a paediatrics team for an exciting new role based in Kent. The role is offering full time hours, for an ongoing period.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and young people who have challenging behaviour and/or emotional difficulties.

Duties within this role will include:

  • Monitor progress against outcome focused care plans and discharge when appropriate
  • Providing specialist communication assessments to support legal process and inform judiciary
  • Maintaining records and case notes
  • Run controlled therapy sessions
  • Assessment of individuals to determine specific areas of need and strategies to support development

To be considered for this role:

  • 3 years minimum of post graduate experience
  • Must hold the relevant degree/qualifications
  • HCPC registration

Pulse is recruiting for a band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join a fantastic NHS CAMHS service based in London. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an on going period.

The post holder will be providing assessments and therapy to both children and adults with mild to moderate mental health issues. You would work within a multi-disciplinary team alongside Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists and Registered Mental Health nurses. The post holder will also work closely with non-psychological professionals, advising on best psychological care.
