Pulse are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join a Rapid Response service in Lancashire; this position is available for an immediate start and due to run for an initial duration of three months but possibility of an extension. A car driver is essential due to the Community setting of this role and must be flexible to work weekends and evenings. The desirable candidate will have experience in community work, intermediate care, rehabilitation and enablement.

In order to be considered for this position you must have the following;

  • A relevant degree qualification
  • HCPC registration

Your main responsibilities will be as follows;

  • Educate patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions
  • Devising, implementing and revising relevant treatment programmes
  • Writing and maintaining confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients, carers and other professionals
  • Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress
  • Advising carers on implementing treatment programmes and training other professionals in therapy delivery
  • Be legally responsible and accountable
