Pulse Allied Health are working with an Independent group of schools who provide education services for young people aged 7 - 19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
Geographically they cover North and East London and parts of Essex and have delivered industry leading packages of education and healthcare enabling young people to engage in learning and reach their full potential.
They are currently in need of a full time Occupational therapist to work 2 days at their school in North West London, 2 days at their School in Essex and 1 day at their educational Hub in Essex.
The therapist will be required to provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention in partnership with schools for children identified as needing OT support/intervention and liaise closely with key colleagues, the multi-disciplinary clinical team and managers to provide an intensive treatment service for children attending the school.
In addition they will need to develop care packages / interventions strategies for referred to the OT services and presenting difficulties with development in some or all of the areas of self-help skills, motor coordination and sensory processing affecting their participation and occupational performance in class based and school based settings.
