Pulse is currently working with a private client who are looking for a band 6 OT to join their team. This private independent hospital in Kent specialises in the neuro-rehabilitation of adults with long term neurological conditions as well as acquired brain injuries and associated behavioural and cognitive impairments.
You will assess and implement interventions that promote independence across all activities of daily living. You will independently manage a caseload of patients with complex and highly complex neurological conditions requiring appropriate clinical reasoning and provide client centred interventions, working collaboratively with other members of the MDT, outside services, family members and other relevant persons. In addition you will provide regular informal supervision to band 4 & 5 OT staff when required, and assist in the induction process and assist band 7 OT’s with caseloads when required and managerial tasks if required.
In order to be considered for this position you must be a qualified and HCPC registered occupational therapist. Previous experience in neurology is essential. The salary for this position is based on experience.
