Pulse are working with a client that are recruiting for an Band 5 Occupational Therapist full time to cover a maternity leave. The hospital is purpose built with 90 beds split into six wards that provide two separate care pathways for men and women from medium secure through low secure to locked services.
The post-holder will work as a member of our dynamic Occupational Therapy team, managing a defined caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. They will provide leadership to junior staff, through supervision and appraisal and participate in the planning, development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services, holding responsibility for defined projects.
The succesful candidate will need evidence that they are educated to degree or diploma level and that they are a member of the HCPC registered as an occupational therapist. You’ll also need excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
