Pulse now has an exciting new role available for an occupational therapist to join a CAMHS team, in a private practice based in East Sussex. Our client is looking for someone who has previous experience of working with CAMHS in both groups and individually, with a range of complex presentations. The successful candidate will be joining a high experienced team, including consultant psychiatrists, therapists, nurses and support staff who have established an excellent reputation.
You will be specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems. The practice has residential facilities for service users, as well as offering outpatient services. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team, also ensuring effective management and development of more junior staff and maintain accurate records regarding progress of the patients.
Knowledge and skills required:
• BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Previous CAMHS experience
• Experience working within a specialised area i.e. addictions, neuro-rehab or eating disorders
