Pulse have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist working with one of the UKs largest providers of Neurological Rehabilitation.

Their Rehab centre in Bedford provides specialist Rehabilitation services to patients who have suffered an acquired brain injury, Stroke or may be suffering from a variety of Neuro-degenerative conditions.

The majority of service users require long term rehab on an inpatient basis, however the service also offers day care, respite and community support and outreach services.

They are currently looking to employ an occupational therapist on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a band 5 or band 6 occupational therapist and have a keen interest in developing their Neurological Rehabilitation career.

You will be required to deliver specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment for an adult resident group with complex, acquired neurological disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases. The ability to apply comprehensive physical and cognitive skills that complement working in neurological rehabilitation is required.

You must be happy to work as part of a wider interdisciplinary team and also have to confidence to work as an autonomous practitioner when required.
