They are currently in need of an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full time position incorporating both clinical and service lead responsibilities. 

As an Occupational Therapist you will undertake a biopsychosocial assessment with clients to identify strategies for health management, condition management, functionality and behaviour modification. The Occupational Therapist will work in co-case management with a range of non-clinical services to support client’s recovery.
 
The Occupational Therapist will be passionate about improving the health and lives of their clients and will be able to use their personal qualities, skills and experience to motivate, inspire and support clients to achieve their goals.  

 

They will also assume a lead role for the service, developing and managing relationships with stakeholders both external and internal to the organisation. Account management will include reporting and facilitating meetings with contractors. 
 

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of a new service that supports both patients and colleagues to understand the principles of Occupational Therapy and the benefits that work can have for a patients health and wellbeing. Patients will be offered a range of one to one and groups interventions to support them to manage their condition(s) more effective. Through guidance, knowledge and effective intervention, the service will help patients recognise their potential. 

The role is based across 3 locations in the Manchester and Greater Manchester area yet travel is kept to a minimum and there is also the option to work from home some days of the week.
