Pulse has an exciting opportunity for a band 6 occupational therapist that specialises in mental health, to work within a well-established NHS trust based in East Sussex. Candidates applying will need experience with working in a mental health setting.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, skilled and caring occupational therapist that has a keen interest in promoting positive mental health. This placement is available to start as soon as possible for an initial 8 week period. The working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, working Monday – Friday.

Duties will include:

  • Care-coordinating
  • Assessment of patient progress
  • Treating patients for illnesses such as, psychotic disorders, eating disorders or dementia
  • Covering and managing own caseloads
  • Working with other healthcare professionals
  • Monitoring patients

Skills and experience needed:

  • Previous experience within mental health
  • Relevant degree/qualification in OT
  • HCPC registration
