Pulse is now seeking to recruit an occupational therapist to join the rapid response team at a NHS trust based in Essex.

The rapid response team at this trust supports cross site working and therefore may involve working at other working hospitals. There is a free shuttle bus service between sites.

The Rapid Response Team cover A&E, Elderly Receiving Unit (ERU), Medical Receiving Unit (MRU) and the Elderly Short Stay Unit (ESSU). The ideal candidate will therefore require recent Acute Medical and/or A&E experience and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment focusing primarily on facilitating discharge of patients from hospital.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role

  • Have HCPC registration

  • Good communication skills

  • Manual handling experience

  • Hold the relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy
