Pulse is now actively seeking to recruit Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within a well-established NHS trust based in London. The ideal candidate should have learning disabilities experience. Desirable qualities to have worked with social care. This is a joint health and social care team so must be prepared for MDT working.

 The placement is available for an immediate start and is on-going. This is a part-time position, working 3 days, 22.5 hours per week. There are regular transport links nearby so therefore being a car driver/owner is not essential.  

Duties within this role will include:

  • Managing own ITU caseload
  • Treating patients undergoing planned surgery and patients who have been admitted due to a traumatic incident or accident
  • Pre-admission and pre-operative assessment
  • Treating spinal cord injury
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients progress  
  • Making referrals when necessary to other healthcare professionals
  • Daily rehab to patients on the ward

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Relevant degree/qualification
  • HCPC registered
  • Previous experience working in similar role
  • Must have a broad range of community experience including neurology rehab
