Pulse has a client who is looking for a Physiotherapist to work in their school providing physiotherapy services to students. There are 2 positions one working with children aged 2-19 and one working with young adults aged 19-25 who have complex learning disabilities combined with significant communication difficulties including little or no oral language.

The Physiotherapist will maintain and restore students’ physical, psychological and social well-being, taking account of variations in health status, through the use of clinical judgement and informed interpretation. They will accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload organising work in line with identified service/clinical priorities, managing own time.

Applicants must have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and have registration with HPC. They must also be a registered member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP). It is also essential that candidate have experience of working as a Physiotherapist with children and young people with profound communication impairments, including people who are non-verbal.
