Charities we support

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

We are proud to be supporting the only UK charity solely dedicated to researching blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research (LLR) is focused on finding causes, improving diagnosis and treatments, and running ground-breaking clinical trials for blood cancer patients. This disease affects people of all ages, from babies to grandparents; LLR seeks to give everyone affected the best possible chance of survival.

LLR need to raise £100million over the next five years to continue their life-saving research into better diagnosis, treatments and cures for all those with blood cancers. In 2013 we raised a total of £38,000 for this chosen charity.

Make-A-Wish UK

Over 20,000 children and young people in the UK live with life-threatening conditions. Make-A-Wish UK has a very simple goal – to grant them magical wishes.

The charity was founded in the UK in 1986 and since then it has granted more than 8,000 wishes. These range from being an actor for a day to owning the latest gadget, travelling to a favourite place and writing a science fiction book. These granted wishes can inspire children to keep going.

The charity relies solely on the generous donations of the public and Make-A-Wish UK aims to never turn a child away. At Pulse, we have been working with Make-A-Wish UK to help them achieve their goal.
