Maternity Care

The weeks leading up to the birth of a new baby are a personal time. Professional support from a maternity nurse or carer gives each mother-to-be the confidence, advice and support to prepare for their new arrival and ensure the birth is as stress-free as possible.

In the days following the birth, the nurse can establish a routine for mother, baby and the family and offer practical support with changing and feeds through the day and night. Receiving one-to-one support following the birth in the comfort and convenience of home surroundings means you can also enjoy full support from your family and friends. PULSE nursing and care professionals provide a confidential service at a time when privacy and sensitivity are so important.

How we work

Our professional, experienced and friendly team members are passionate about the services we offer. We meet each client at home to ensure that we deliver services safely and effectively. Where appropriate, with relatives or friends taking part, we undertake a thorough assessment with each mother to be to ensure that we deliver care safely and effectively. We produce a holistic plan describing the care and support that the PULSE@Home nurse will provide.

Each maternity package is tailored to the needs of the mother and may include everything from daily or live-in care through to around the clock support. All our clients can be assured that the nurse we provide to them is carefully selected to meet their needs and offers experience and skills in maternity care.
