We raised more than £15k with employees cycling from Bristol to London!
On 17th November, an intrepid team of nine employees from Independent Clinical Services donned their lycra and hi-vis and endured saddle sores during a two day cycling challenge for charity. The cyclists’ journey took them from the offices of ICS in Long Ashton, near Bristol, all the way to the offices of PULSE in Bloomsbury, London.

Here at PULSE, Staff are taking part in the tough challenge of cycling from Bristol to London to raise money in support of the superb work of Brainwave!
They will set off on Thursday 18th November and will (hopefully!) arrive in London on Friday 19th. We will be closely behind them along the way, following their progress in a minibus and throwing drinks and snacks at them to keep them going!

According to a report by the CBI, care in the home and community VS care in a hospital could save the NHS 15 Billion GBP by 2015. The CBI report claims that the NHS is "Targeting resources in the wrong places", "Too many are treated in hospitals" and "There are a lack of suitable alternatives".
